Awareness Rally Held in Meherpur for Renewable Energy Fest 2025

Meherpur | April 21, 2025 – In a spirited effort to promote environmental sustainability and the importance of renewable energy, an awareness rally was held in Meherpur as part of the Renewable Energy Fest 2025. The rally aimed to emphasize the urgent need for cleaner, greener energy sources to ensure a sustainable future.

The rally began at 10:00 AM from the premises of the Meherpur Deputy Commissioner’s Office and moved through the main streets of the town before concluding at the District Shilpakala Academy.

At a brief gathering outside the DC office, speakers emphasized that renewable energy is not only a future goal—it’s a present necessity. They called for policy reform, wider access to green technologies, and social equity in energy planning.

Moin-ul-Alam, Executive Director of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, stated:

“The transformation of the energy sector cannot rely on the government alone—it demands active participation from every layer of society. This rally is just the beginning of that journey.”
