The Savings Refund Distribution Ceremony for the Vulnerable Women Benefit (VWB) Program under the 2023–2024 cycle was successfully held at the Saharbari Union Parishad.

The event was organized by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, with the support of the Upazila Administration and the Upazila Department of Women Affairs, Gangni.

The program was presided over by Ms. Asma Khatun, Panel Chairman of Saharbari Union Parishad. The Chief Guest of the event was Ms. Nasima Khatun, Upazila Women Affairs Officer, Gangni.

Also present at the event were bank officers, Union Parishad members, Mr. Moin-Ul-Alam, Executive Director of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, and NGO representatives Ms. Farida Parvin and Ms. Shefali Khatun.

During the event, the Chief Guest, Ms. Nasima Khatun, delivered an encouraging speech to the VWB beneficiaries, highlighting the importance of savings management, women’s financial independence, and their contribution to social and economic development.

This event marked the successful completion of the VWB 2023–2024 cycle in Saharbari Union, reflecting the joint efforts of the Department of Women Affairs, Upazila Administration, and Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha in promoting women’s empowerment and sustainable community growth.

The Savings Refund Distribution Ceremony for Vulnerable Women Beneficiaries (VWB) under the 2023–2024 cycle was successfully held at the Raypur Union Parishad.

The event was organized by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, with the support of the Upazila Administration and the Upazila Department of Women Affairs, Gangni.

The program was presided over by Mr. Sargidul Islam, Panel Chairman of Raypur Union Parishad, while Ms. Salma Akter, Senior Assistant Secretary, Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, attended as the Chief Guest.

Also present at the event were the Deputy Director of the Department of Women Affairs, Meherpur, the Upazila Women Affairs Officer, Gangni, administrative officials of Raypur Union Parishad, bank officers, Mr. Moin-Ul-Alam, Executive Director of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, and NGO representatives Ms. Farida Parvin and Ms. Shefali Khatun.

During the ceremony, Ms. Salma Akter, the Chief Guest, delivered an inspiring speech to the VWB beneficiaries, encouraging them to use their savings effectively for sustainable livelihood development and to continue their journey toward financial independence.

Under the Vulnerable Women Benefit (VWB) Program for the 2023–2024 cycle, a savings refund distribution event was held at the Tetulbaria Union Parishad.

The program was attended by Mr. Abdul Matin, Secretary of Tetulbaria Union Parishad, Mr. Amzad Hossain, Officer of Dutch-Bangla Bank, Mr. Moin-Ul-Alam, Executive Director of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, and Ms. Farida Parvin, Upazila Coordinator of the VWB Project (Subah).

The event focused on returning the savings accumulated by the beneficiaries during the project period, symbolizing the successful completion of the VWB 2023–2024 cycle.

In celebration of Youth Festival 2025, a special workshop titled “New Bangladesh in the Vision of Youth” was organized by the Upazila Administration, Meherpur Sadar.

The event was graced by Mr. Md. Roni Alam Nur, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education & ICT), who attended as the Chief Guest, while Mr. Md. Khairul Islam, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), Meherpur Sadar, presided over the session.

As part of the festival, a colorful rally and an environmental awareness workshop were held to promote pollution control and environmental protection.

The event was jointly organized by the District Administration, Department of Environment, and Forest Department, Meherpur.

With the theme “Let’s Change the Nation, Let’s Change the World,” the celebration aimed to inspire the youth to take the lead in building a cleaner, greener, and more progressive Bangladesh.

The event took place at the Kumari Union Parishad, Alamdanga Upazila, Chuadanga District.

The initiative aimed to enhance women’s capacity for income generation and economic independence while promoting awareness on key social issues such as gender equality, prevention of child marriage, and women’s leadership in community development.

As part of its ongoing public awareness initiatives, Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha installed a public awareness signboard near Amjhupi Hat on the Meherpur–Chuadanga Road to promote awareness against drug abuse.

The message on the signboard reads:

“Say No to Drugs — Build a Drug-Free Life.”
