With the support of the Bangladesh NGO Foundation (BNF) and under the implementation of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, the 14th Phase Education Scholarship Program for meritorious yet underprivileged students was successfully conducted in Meherpur Sadar Upazila.

The event was supervised by Mr. A.K.M. Abdus Salam, Monitoring Advisor, Bangladesh NGO Foundation, who visited three secondary schools — Amjhupi Secondary School, Amjhupi Girls’ Secondary School, and Chandbil CMC Secondary School.

A total of 33 students from these institutions received scholarships of BDT 6,000 each, amounting to BDT 198,000 (One Lakh Ninety-Eight Thousand Taka) in total.

During the visit, the head teachers, assistant teachers, Subah’s Executive Director Mr. Moin-Ul-Alam, project coordinator, and the scholarship recipients were present.

The Monitoring Advisor expressed satisfaction with the project’s implementation and commended Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha for its contribution to education and youth development.

As part of the nationwide tree plantation program marking the celebration of “July Renaissance and Youth Festival 2025,” a tree plantation event was organized in Amjhupi Union, Meherpur Sadar Upazila, with the support of the Bangladesh NGO Foundation (BNF).

Under this initiative, trees were planted along both sides of the Chandbil–Vaiya–Dafarpur Road to promote environmental sustainability and create a greener community.

The program was attended by Mr. Moin-Ul-Alam, Executive Director of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, along with members of the local community and representatives from various professions.

Participants expressed their commitment to protecting the environment and ensuring the success of the government’s green development goals through such collective efforts.
