Free Installation of Hygienic Semi-Pucca Toilets for Marginalized Families

In a significant step toward improving rural sanitation and public health, Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, with the generous support of the Bangladesh NGO Foundation, has successfully implemented a project to provide free hygienic semi-pucca toilets to ultra-poor families.


🚽 Project Objective:

To ensure access to safe and sanitary toilet facilities for impoverished households, thereby:

  • Reducing open defecation
  • Preventing sanitation-related diseases
  • Promoting dignity and safety, especially for women and children


🎉 Handover Ceremony:

A handover event was organized to officially transfer the newly constructed toilets to the beneficiary families.
The event was graced by the presence of the Assistant Land Officer, Meherpur Sadar, who attended as the chief guest and emphasized the importance of community-level hygiene and collaboration in sustaining such initiatives.
